Swapna Sanchari is one of those films that captures the fleeting nature of wealth and social standing. Ajaychandran, returning to Kerala full of bravado and cash from the Gulf, sets the stage for a tale of hubris. The film digs into how his ostentatious behavior brings just as many problems as it does 'benefits.' It's got a slow burn to it, really letting you feel the weight of his decisions as they unravel. The atmosphere is rich, filled with the colors and sounds of village life, yet tinged with a sense of impending doom. Performances are pretty solid, especially when it comes to the subtle interactions that highlight his character's downfall. It’s a decent exploration of pride, materialism, and the fragility of fortune. Not your typical drama, but it leaves an imprint.
