Sword for Hire

The film follows soldiers Hayate and Yaheiji as they escape from a besieged castle. Hayate leaves behind his lover, Kano, only to find himself wounded and cared for by O'Ryo, who falls in love with him. The plot thickens as Hayate accidentally kills O'Ryo's caretaker, prompting her to pursue him. Meanwhile, Kano, believing Hayate to be dead, becomes involved with Jurota, whose defection to the opposing army complicates matters further.
