Tangerines on Cat

The story follows Tomohiro as he brings his fiancée Machiko to his hometown to meet his family. Each family member has their own quirks, including Tomohiro's siblings, who all face various challenges in their lives. This creates a comedic yet heartfelt exploration of familial bonds.

The family consists of Tomohiro's younger brother Takeshi, who avoids school, and older sister Yumi, who is indifferent to family matters. Younger sister Sayaka struggles with dating due to her insecurities, while their mother, referred to as Mama, manages household duties. The father, known as Chichi, adds to the family's unique dynamic. The arrival of Machiko disrupts their routine, leading to humorous situations that highlight the strangeness and charm of family life.
