Temporary Paradise

The film follows French POWs in 1943 who escape through Hungary, encountering various challenges along the way. Jacques and Gérard are captured and sent to an internment camp at Lake Balaton. Here, Jacques meets Klári, a woman abandoned by her military officer husband due to her Jewish heritage. What begins as a brief affair evolves into a deeper connection between them, set against the harsh realities of war.
