Tenkrát o vánocích

The film follows a Czechoslovak battalion led by Captain Hloušek as they take a Slovak mountain village just before Christmas Eve in 1944. Amidst the backdrop of war, soldiers hear the sounds of Christmas and classical music from nearby German positions. Despite the festive atmosphere, tension arises with the presence of second lieutenant Jílek, whose mysterious past makes him a figure of distrust among the men.
