The story follows Inkeri, who, upon overhearing her bleak prognosis, decides to embark on a final journey with friends instead of succumbing to despair. With her daughter Maija initially trying to care for her, Inkeri's determination to save Maija from her past mistakes sets the stage for a heartfelt road trip.

Inkeri's escape from the nursing home takes her and her friends, including Matti, on an unexpected adventure. As they travel towards the Arctic Ocean, they encounter painful memories and intense emotions, culminating in a unique experience that blends humor with the gravity of their situation.
