Thank You, Padre Pio!

The story follows Gigione, a touring musician, and his son Donatello, who longs to join his father on the road. Instead, Donatello stays home, where he encounters a friend and a young girl who captures his attention. However, her concerns about freedom fighters lead him down a risky path involving clandestine races and a dangerous mentor named Don Franco.

As the narrative unfolds, Gigione returns from his concerts only to find Donatello entwined in a troubling circle. This prompts Gigione to embark on a pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo, seeking guidance and mercy from Padre Pio. The film delves into the complexities of family dynamics, the lure of temptation, and the quest for spiritual redemption.
