The Alchemist and the Virgin

Set in the present day, The Alchemist and the Virgin follows László Sziráki, a womanizer and chemistry professor who is on a quest to discover the secret to turning base materials into gold. His journey takes an unexpected turn when he encounters Esthena, an eccentric philosopher with her own desires. The film navigates the complexities of their relationship while also exploring the motivations behind Sziráki's quest for wealth and recognition.

In addition to László's pursuit, the narrative introduces Sophika, a wise grandmother who recognizes the significance of Esthena and her connection to her grandson, Syracuse.
