The "Alpha" Project

In 'The Alpha' Project, a border ship in the USSR's territorial waters encounters a foreign vessel that has deviated from its course. During their inspection, the crew discovers that the vessel has discarded a radio beacon, linked to a Western intelligence service. This discovery sets off a chain of events as the border guards, aided by an assigned journalist, work to neutralize the threat posed by the beacon.
