The American Mall

Set in a local shopping mall, The American Mall follows Ally, an aspiring singer/songwriter played by Nina Dobrev. Her mother owns the mall's music shop, making it a central hub for the local youth. Ally's journey intertwines with Joey, a janitor with dreams of rock stardom, as they connect over their shared passion for music and the struggles they face.

The film also features Madison, the mall owner's entitled daughter, who complicates Ally's aspirations. The narrative explores themes of jealousy, ambition, and the challenges of youth.
