The Animal

The narrative follows Siri, a 15-year-old girl, who receives a call from child protection services about her family's situation. With only two days to prepare for their visit, she attempts to create an illusion of a happy home. Siri's friend Arne, whom she loves, supports her during this critical time.

However, when rumors about her selling cannabis begin to spread, Siri's carefully constructed world starts to unravel. The film delves into themes of family dynamics, love, and the pressures faced by adolescents in difficult circumstances. With a cast featuring Herbert Nordrum, Sjur Vatne Brean, and Leon Bashir, The Animal presents a gripping look at the complexities of a young girl's life.
