The Award

The Award follows 10-year-old Arben, who enters a religious competition at his school during the Christian holiday of Epiphany. His motivation stems from his desire to win a monetary prize of 10,000 denars to help his sick younger brother. This narrative explores themes of devotion and the lengths a child will go to for family.

Produced by FDU Skopje and Lavirint Production, the film features performances from Erdoan Maksut and Aurita Agushi. The story's backdrop provides a unique perspective on cultural and religious intersections, making it a notable drama from 2017.
