The Bamboo Incident

The Bamboo Incident tells the story of a young Vietnamese boy whose life is disrupted by the ongoing war in Vietnam. As his father fights for the Viet Cong, the boy, along with his mother and baby sister, must navigate the challenges of survival in a war-torn environment. After his mother's death from overwork and lack of medical care, he takes on the responsibility of caring for his sister while trying to make ends meet through odd jobs.
