The Best Reward

The Best Reward follows the story of Mattia, a 17-year-old navigating an identity crisis in a post-industrial province of Italy. As the son of a trade unionist and a housewife, he grapples with his hypersensitivity and fragility while expressing himself through hip-hop music. The narrative escalates following the death of his older brother, which triggers significant changes in Mattia's life.

Transitioning from school to factory work, Mattia's journey leads him to encounter new ideologies, including Islam, through a North African colleague.
