The Buffalo

The Buffalo tells the story of Shokufeh and Iman, who plan to escape Iran but face tragic circumstances during their journey. As they wait in the port city of Anzali to meet their smuggler, a mishap leads to the loss of their valuables in a lagoon. This pivotal moment sets off a chain of events that culminates in Iman's drowning, leaving Shokufeh to navigate her grief and new reality.
