The Cat's Bridge

In 1807 Prussia, Baron von Schranden coerces his maid Regine into leading the French army over Cat's Bridge, resulting in the devastation of Prussian volunteers. This act of betrayal ignites the villagers' wrath, culminating in the burning of the baron's castle.

Years later, in 1813, Boleslav, the baron's son, returns as a war hero only to find his father's legacy tainted by the villagers' anger. Regine stands by Boleslav, representing the only connection to his past. As tensions rise, the villagers plot an ambush at Cat's Bridge, highlighting the deep-seated resentments and struggles of loyalty in a time of war.
