The Con Artist

The film follows Fanny, who is 30 years old and pregnant, as she navigates her challenging living situation with her father and procrastinating partner, Virgil. In her search for independence, she discovers a rent-to-own listing for a vintage apartment in Paris, which she views as her ticket to a new life.

However, Fanny's plans are disrupted by the saleswoman, Masséna, who does not match Fanny's expectations of a vulnerable property owner. This leads Fanny to engage in a fierce battle against Masséna, whom she sees as a conniving con artist. The comedic tension arises from Fanny's determination to claim her future and the unexpected obstacles she faces along the way.
