The Cry of Love

Set against the backdrop of a port town, The Cry of Love follows Ali, a port worker who marries Goli, the daughter of Mesh Mohammad, in secret. The story unfolds as Ali is drawn into smuggling to make a living, leading to his pursuit by the gendarmes and a desperate escape to Tehran. The narrative deepens as Ali's return to his hometown brings him face-to-face with his past and the challenges of reuniting with Goli.

As the plot develops, Goli establishes her own life by opening a tailoring shop and raising their daughter Zari, with the assistance of a local prostitute named Jalal. Tensions arise when Jalal harbors feelings for Goli, complicating the dynamics of their relationships. The film intricately weaves the struggles of love and personal ambition, ultimately culminating in Ali's efforts to reunite with his family.
