The Daughter of the Moon

The film follows 13-year-old Killari, who is chosen by the Spirit of tutelary gods as a scissors dancer. Her mother, Agucha, is deeply conflicted as she grapples with the loss of her husband, Pacha, who died in a duel with Lucifer. Agucha's guilt over not revealing her pregnancy to Pacha weighs heavily on her, leading her to hide the truth of his death from Killari.

Meanwhile, Killari's grandfather, Remigio, remains silent in his grief but finds a renewed sense of purpose in Killari's interest in dance. He decides to teach her the art of scissors dancing, hoping it will empower her to confront Lucifer and preserve their family's legacy. This drama combines elements of cultural heritage with personal strife, making it a poignant narrative about overcoming adversity and honoring tradition.
