The Devil's Bride

Set in a kingdom where the king is often away, the film follows a queen who makes a deal with the devil in her desperation to have a child. This pact results in the birth of a princess, who grows up alongside Štěpán, the son of a chambermaid. Their love story is complicated by the revelation that the princess must marry Lucifer on her eighteenth birthday.

In an effort to change her daughter's fate, the queen organizes a grand ball to betroth the princess to a foreign prince instead.
