The Disaster of Centipede

This film presents three intertwined narratives spanning the Tang Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and the Republic of China. In the first story, the people of Ray County face dire consequences due to their consumption of wild animals, leading to a haunting fear as evil spirits threaten their children.

The second story delves into the frustrations of peasants during the Ming Dynasty, who are silenced by the reckless behavior of a young master that leads to widespread discontent over the waste of vital grain crops.

The final narrative shifts to the Republic of China, highlighting the family dynamics of a wealthy tycoon, Mr. Yang, whose favoritism towards his son breeds jealousy and discord among his daughters. Each story reflects the complexities of human nature and societal expectations across different eras.
