The Dog Pound

David has just failed his university examinations and has a year to rewrite them. His father, Ruben, a pragmatic businessman, believes David's education is a waste of time. To motivate him, Ruben offers David a deal: he can stay at his house in La Perrera, a coastal resort town, while Ruben builds his own house.

This year-long adventure takes David into an isolated world filled with off-season residents, where the only women are either pregnant or involved in prostitution. The town is characterized by its laid-back atmosphere, where friendships often overshadow work.
