The First 10 – Remake

This 14-minute film is a remake of the first ten films created by the Lumière brothers, originally screened in 1895. It reflects on the origins of cinema by revisiting the same locations, filmed at the same times of day, and using similar camera techniques as the original works.

Director Janez Burger aims to present the vision of Europe through the same lens that the Lumière brothers used 120 years ago. The film is produced by Tramal Films, RTV Slovenija, and Staragara, adding a contemporary take on historical cinema that may appeal to collectors of both modern and classic film.
