The Fool

The story follows Chou and Mo, two individuals who bond over their shared habit of talking to fish in a discarded basin after school. They exchange poems and develop a deep connection until Mo moves abroad. As time progresses, the once-secret bridge pier where they met transforms into marshland, symbolizing the passage of time and change.

When Mo returns, Chou is heartbroken to find that she has forgotten him. Faced with this painful reality, Chou begins to view Mo as an illusion, a coping mechanism that allows him to continue pursuing her memory and live on.
