The Forgotten is an interesting blend of comedy and drama set against the backdrop of a railway night shift. You’ve got Yusuf Al-Mansi, a somewhat unassuming worker, who unwittingly gets entangled in the high-stakes world of a millionaire’s party. The tension builds nicely, with the atmosphere shifting between lighthearted banter and a more serious undertone as Yusuf's motives become clearer. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it kind of lends to the charm of the film – you feel the weight of the characters’ choices. Performances are solid, especially in how they navigate the absurdities of their situations. It’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill story, which makes it distinctive in its own right.
Interesting take on class dynamics. · Uneven pacing, but adds to its charm. · Solid performances enhance the unique storyline.
