The French Trilogy

The French Trilogy presents a series of 62 photographs accompanied by music, featuring 25 actors across 6 regions in France. This project is a continuation of Terrier-Hermann's exploration of visual storytelling, echoing his earlier work, The American Tetralogy.

The film questions the relationship between cinema and the landscapes it portrays, making it a thought-provoking piece for those interested in the artistic dimensions of film and photography. The project included a song by Edward Barrow, enhancing the visual experience with its musical backdrop. It was also displayed in public spaces in France during the summer of 2013, utilizing advertising strategies for its distribution, further blurring the lines between art and commercialism.
