The Gauls

The Gauls consists of two distinct segments. The first segment, titled "The French," showcases two men as they taste test a variety of wines. The second segment, called "The Gauls," captures the spirited action of men playing rugby.

This short film is part of the "The French as Seen By..." series, which was initiated and sponsored by the newspaper Le Figaro. Released in celebration of the tenth anniversary of its magazine section, it offers a unique glimpse into French life and culture as seen through Herzog's lens.
