The Getaway

The Getaway follows social media stars Mengli and Xiaomiao, along with their friend Yuying, as they embark on a seemingly innocent trip to an island for a live show. However, their adventure turns dark when Granny Xiong, the boat rower, leads them to a trap designed to secure a bride for her disabled grandson.

As the girls find themselves locked up, they struggle to maintain hope while facing dire conditions. The tension escalates further when Yuying discovers she is pregnant, adding urgency to their desperate quest for escape. With a mix of suspense and horror, this film captures the harrowing experience of being trapped and the lengths one will go to for freedom.
