The Golden Buddha

In The Golden Buddha, Paul (Zhang Chong) finds himself embroiled in an international espionage plot after switching briefcases with a friend on a flight to Singapore. When his friend is found dead, Paul discovers a small Golden Buddha containing vital instructions that are part of a treasure map. The other two parts are hidden within similar Buddhas held by Lo Wei and Lin Cui.

As Paul navigates this dangerous landscape, he faces off against the Skeleton Gang and a femme fatale played by Fanny Fan, who employs her charm to achieve her goals. With kung-fu skills at his disposal, Paul must outsmart his adversaries in a race to uncover the treasure. This film captures the essence of 1960s action cinema, combining elements of martial arts with an engaging treasure hunt narrative.
