The Golden Tooth

The story follows Captain Lipovanski, who is severely injured during World War II and taken prisoner by the Germans. After the war, he is released in a foreign land, believing he has been condemned as a deserter and that his wife has died. With a new identity as 'Golden Tooth', he trains for subversive missions against his homeland, seeking vengeance against those who wronged him.

Upon returning to Bulgaria, he discovers that the true circumstances of his past are far from what he believed. His wife was murdered by an agent provocateur, but his child is safe and has been raised elsewhere. Armed with this knowledge, Golden Tooth embarks on a mission to eliminate the traitors responsible for his suffering, leading to a tense confrontation at the border where justice is ultimately served.
