The Hand Invisible

The Hand Invisible centers on steel magnate Rodney Graham, who divorces his wife after her injury prevents her from having children. He then pursues debutante Katherine Dale, whose own tragic backstory complicates their relationship. After marrying Katherine, she dies following childbirth, leaving Rodney to grapple with family dynamics and personal revelations.

As the story unfolds, Rodney's son, initially believed to be his heir, is revealed to be the child of Katherine's deceased fiancé. This discovery leads to a dramatic confrontation between Rodney and his stepbrother, Arthur Haynes, who foresees Rodney's downfall.
