The Haunted Samurai

This film follows Bessho Hikoshiro, an academically diligent warrior who faces challenges in his quest for social mobility. Expelled from his adopted family and living with his critical brother, he reconnects with a former rival, Enomoto Takeaki, who has achieved success through a shrine prayer. Hikoshiro's journey takes a turn when he stumbles upon a dilapidated shrine and inadvertently attracts the attention of the gods of poverty, pestilence, and death.
