The Legacy

The film follows Jeong-do, a law student who has been unable to pass the bar exam for a decade after the death of his mother. His rich girlfriend, Jin-kyeong, remains supportive as he navigates this challenging period. Meanwhile, Jeong-do's father battles lung cancer, adding to the financial and emotional pressures he faces, including mounting medical bills.

Kyeong-hee enters Jeong-do's life, complicating his already tumultuous situation. Their connection is rooted in a shared past that almost turned them into siblings due to Jeong-do's father's affair. The narrative intertwines the various struggles of the characters, ultimately highlighting the importance of support and relationships in overcoming life's obstacles.
