The Miracle According to Salomé

In 1917 Portugal, the country is rife with political and social agitation, coinciding with reports of a virgin appearing to three shepherds in Fatima. Salomé, a young woman from the provinces, finds herself transitioning from the brothels of Lisbon to the high society, thanks to the invitation of a wealthy man.

However, her past continues to haunt her, and the new life she envisioned begins to unravel. Salomé becomes an unwilling participant in the miracle that captivates the nation, leading to her eventual downfall. The film captures the struggles of a woman caught between her past and the societal pressures of her present.
