The Nightingale of the Farm

The film follows Shirzad, a peasant who serves as an estate manager. When the landowner and his children, Irdaz and Zohra, arrive for the summer, romantic connections emerge. Irdaz falls for Shirzad's sister Golnaz, while Shirzad develops feelings for Zohra.

As love blossoms, challenges arise when the landowner offers Shirzad a substantial amount of money for his sister, which he refuses. He believes in exchanging women through marriage rather than monetary transactions. Shirzad's request for Zohra’s hand leads to a significant condition imposed by the landowner, requiring a hefty sum for the wedding, presenting Shirzad with a dilemma about how to fulfill this obligation.
