The Notorious Concubines

This film tells the story of Wu Song, who rises to prominence as a guard captain in Song-dynasty China. Drawn to his brother's wife, Pan Jinlian, he finds himself entangled in a web of desire and treachery, as the wealthy Ximen Qing seeks to possess her at any cost. Following a series of tragic events, including the murder of his brother, Wu Song's quest for justice leads him to imprisonment and ultimately to an alliance with the Liangshan bandits.
