The Only Way

This absurd comedy draws inspiration from George Perec’s novel "A Man Asleep" and Herman Melville’s short story "Bartleby, the Scrivener." The narrative follows Adam, a young man whose life is thrown into chaos after his mother passes away. Having not left his apartment in years, Adam struggles to cope without her constant care.

In a bid to regain some semblance of normalcy, he takes the unusual step of renting out his mother's old room to a girl who will look after him. This setup leads to a mix of comedic and poignant moments as Adam navigates his new reality. The film’s blend of drama and humor presents a unique take on personal growth and the complexities of human relationships.
