The palaces

The Palaces follows Mo-bum, an unknown actor who faces an unexpected breakup and experiences memory loss after a night of drinking. He finds himself at Deoksugung Palace, where he encounters his ex-girlfriend Hee-jung.

The film also introduces Chloe, a Korean-French woman visiting Korea for the first time. Staying at an Airbnb run by Hee-jung and Jong-nam, she develops a connection with Seok-hyun, leading them to Gyeongbokgung Palace for photography.

Additionally, Sung-joon, a film production graduate, grapples with his future as he returns home due to financial strains. He visits Changdeokgung Palace, where he decides to create what may be his final film. The intertwining stories set against the backdrop of iconic palaces create a rich narrative.
