The Private Police

The film follows Kijima, played by Bunta Sugawara, as he returns to Tokyo after the war. He teams up with Ôba, portrayed by Noboru Andō, an ex-Kamikaze pilot. Together, they rally a group of hooligans to confront the Togawa gang, who have taken over Sakurada's territory. The story unfolds as they chase out the Togawa Group, leading to Kijima's imprisonment for assaulting an American soldier.

Years later, Kijima is released and finds that much has changed in Ginza. Ôba has transitioned into the president of a company that deals with bad debts and cheque fraud, and their organization is known as the “Private Police.” As they navigate the underworld of Tokyo, they face new challenges from the Takegami gang, who are eyeing control of Ginza. This film offers a gritty look at the complexities of crime and loyalty in a rapidly changing post-war society.
