The Red Colored Grey Truck

The film takes place in Belgrade during the summer of 1991, a tumultuous time as Yugoslavia is falling apart. Gavran, a rural Bosnian introvert obsessed with trucks, struggles with color blindness that prevents him from obtaining a driving license. Following his release from prison, he steals a truck for a joyride, which leads to an unexpected encounter with Suzana, a city girl facing an unplanned pregnancy and seeking an abortion in Dubrovnik.

As they embark on a journey together, the stark contrasts between their lives and backgrounds become apparent. Gavran finds in Suzana the first person he can communicate with, while she views him as just another foolish encounter. However, the impending dangers of war create a bond between them, highlighting their shared absurdity in an increasingly chaotic world. The film showcases how two people from vastly different experiences can momentarily connect in the face of overwhelming circumstances.
