So, The Return of Mod Squad is kind of an interesting watch from 1979. Directed by George McCowan, it has this strange blend of action and drama that feels very much like a product of its time. You’ve got Pete, Linc, and Julie drawn back into the chaos of their old lives, and there’s a nostalgic vibe that weaves through the story, especially with the throwbacks to the '60s flower child era. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but that kind of adds to the charm, I think. The performances are solid, capturing the essence of their characters well. And while the practical effects aren’t groundbreaking, they fit the tone of the film nicely. It’s a unique piece of TV movie history, really.
