It’s interesting how it plays with themes of media consumption and the consequences that can follow. The practical effects, while not over-the-top, create a sense of realism that enhances the horror elements. The performances are solid, with a palpable sense of dread throughout. It's distinct in how it combines traditional horror with the anxieties of emerging technology, making it feel oddly relevant even today. A unique take on a classic premise, for sure.
