The Sleep of Cyma Roget

The film follows Cyma Roget, a young woman influenced by the sinister Hindu scientist Chandra Dak. He possesses the ability to place her in a hypnotic state, making her appear dead. However, as Chandra Dak's feelings for Cyma deepen, his control begins to wane.

During her escape from Chandra Dak, Cyma finds refuge with three aspiring Bohemian artists. In this artistic environment, she becomes a model and develops a bond with one of the artists, Paul Bridere. The film explores themes of love, art, and the battle against control, culminating in a dramatic twist as Chandra Dak's affection fades and he reasserts his power over her, sending her into a hypnotic coma.
