The Song of Crazy Love is this haunting drama that really delves deep into themes of loss and memory. Yi-su, a professor, is still tethered to her past, unable to let go of Joon-ho, her first love, who’s gone in Vietnam. It's a slow burn, and you can really feel the weight of her nostalgia. Enter Hyun-woo, who looks just like Joon-ho, and the dynamic shifts. There’s a certain tension in his discovery of Yi-su's pain — it's almost like he's probing into a wound. The performances are quite striking; you can see the emotional toll on Yi-su as she wrestles with her memories. This film captures that feeling of being stuck between past and present in a very unique way.
