The Story of a Discharged Prisoner

This film follows Lee Jwo Horng, who has just completed a 15-year prison sentence. Upon his release, he discovers that his fiancée, Betty, has become involved with a triad boss named One-Eye Jack. To avoid disappointing his younger brother, Chih Shen, Lee opts to keep his freedom a secret and seeks refuge with his friend Ah Han.

As Jack pressures Lee to return to a life of crime, Lee is determined to turn his life around. His resolve faces a challenge when Jack attempts to corrupt Chih Shen, drawing him into the underworld. The film's narrative highlights the tension between past affiliations and the desire for a better future, making it a poignant exploration of choices and consequences.
