The Story of Molly X

Molly's husband, Rick, was a gang leader in the Midwest. After his murder, she relocates to San Francisco with a few gang members to start anew. Disguised as an affluent woman, she orchestrates robberies of security transports. The plot thickens when a gang member confesses to killing Rick out of jealousy, leading Molly to shoot him in a fit of rage.

Despite her actions, Molly cannot be convicted of murder due to lack of evidence but ends up in an open female prison for her robberies. There, she learns a profession for the first time, adding a layer of complexity to her character and situation.
