The Thirteenth Chamber

The Thirteenth Chamber follows twelve-year-old Kosta and his friend Blanka, both of whom possess an overactive imagination. They discover a forgotten attic, which they call the forbidden "thirteenth chamber." Here, Kosta transforms an old glass vase into a magical plaything, allowing them to engage in a game they call "on fate."

As the children play, they observe the troubling dynamics of Blanka's family. Her father, a physician, struggles with his wife's dissatisfaction, which is compounded by her lingering feelings for a former suitor who has moved to India.
