The Time Guardians

The Time Guardians tells the story of childless spouses, writer Andrei and artist Olga, as they adopt an eight-year-old girl named Ksyusha. The plot thickens when Ksyusha's connection to Andrei's past emerges, leading to tension with the director of her orphanage, who is determined to reclaim Andrei's affections.

As Andrei writes a science fiction novel, the story blurs the lines between his writing and reality. The dark side of Petersburg comes alive, filled with soulless creatures and a mysterious friend named Paramon, whom Ksyusha meets in this surreal world. Together, they face numerous dangerous adventures, enhancing the film's fantasy elements.
