The Unicorn

The story revolves around Harriet and Frank Allard, who have been married for nearly two decades. Their lives take a turn when Harriet's past love affair with Frank's colleague, Claes von Klitzow, comes to light. This affair resulted in the birth of a son, Christer, whom Frank believes to be his biological child.

As events unfold, Christer announces his intention to marry Louise, the daughter of Claes.
