The Valley of Doubt

The film follows Tommy Hilgrade, a young man sent to the lumber lands by his father in hopes of reforming his dissipated lifestyle. Accompanied by his sister Marion, Tommy's journey reveals the complexities of their relationships with those around them, including lumber foreman Jack Macy, who has his own motivations.
